We are still using SAP Business Connector ( older release of Web Methods software) for some of our electronic commerce connections. Until now it's only been used for sending outbound XML, not for receiving anything from outside.
At the moment we are bringing up a partner where we will be receiving XML data, and we will be using digital certificates to authenticate.
Everything seems to be set up correctly, however when my partner is trying to connect to my Business Connector server, the connection fails. The client is getting through the firewall, but seems to be failing on the authentication handshake with the server.
Here is the error the client is receiving on a connection attemp with us: "iaik.security.ssl.SSLException: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: bad record mac. "
Our outbound posts to our partner are fine.
If any of you had a screen shot(s), or description of a typical client certificate set up in Business Connector, or Web Methods software, highlighting the fields to populate for the public, intermediate, and root certificates it would be truely appreciated. Particularly where the intermediate and root certs go.
Unfortunately the documentation is a little thin on this topic.
