error in vd51.

hiiiii,

when i use (VD51) t.code ,i am getting an error "material in sales organization, distribution channel is not defined", where as every thing is defined and assigned properly.

plz help me out to ressolve this issue.

Dear Riya

Please cross check once again as follows:-

Make a note of the Sales Organization and Distribution Channel what you maintained in VD51. Go to material master MM02 / MM03, input the material code and select "Sales: Sales Org. Data 1" view. Now you will see a box where you just press F4 on the Sales Org and Dist.Channel. Most probably, in your case, it would have been different and hence, the system throws the error message.

Check if your material is extended to the sales area that you are using to maintain VD51.

Hi riya

check wheather the material and customer are in the same sales orgn & dist channel.

Say customer is in 1000/10.As material is not created in 1000/10 extend it

Then you can create VD51.and fulfill your requirement
