MRP Total Planning

Hi Gurus,

Just want to confirm, if we run MRP at Total Planning mode (MD01), Scope of planning or Plant option, will it plan MRP Areas as well? Thanks!

Dear,

You need to define scope of planning in customization in transaction OM0E

In this you combine the MRP areas into a single scope and then run the planning run in MD01.Then it will only plant accordingly MRP area.

When the scope is maintained the sequence can be maintained so that MRP run takes place in the same seuence.

The advanrage is that you dont have to have separate planning runs for each of the MRP areas or plants.

Hi

In case of Total planing run or Scope of planing (MD01) MRP area will not come into the picture.
