Not Aable to OPEN DMS Doument on different machine.

Dear All,

I am using DMS only for attching document in Project System.

I have created nerw document type. I also assign defult system in Define carrier type as follwos in Indetify front computer -

FrontendComputer - Default

Data carr. type - X

Netw. address - DEFAULT

Description - Default for local PC

I am able to attached doument and view it on my PC. But, if I want to open same project on anoth PC and want to view the document I can see the document but if I opened it it's gives following error

Error downloading C:
_SPASPIPS06.XLS

Let me know the solution for this or i need to maintained this path on individual PC.

Hi,

please check if you have the permission for creating file in directory C:\ on the second PC too. Otherwise please maintain a path in transaction DC20 for your frontend typ where you have read- and write permission.
