Hi,
Please tell me the difference between PP and PPPI module.
Hi,
PP and PPPI are not a different module but we can say PPPI is sub module of PP Module.
PP - Production Planing which is used for Repetitive and Discrete industries.where process flow is not to much complicated.
While,
PPPI - Production Planing For Process Industries is used for all those industries (Pharma , Chemicals , Paints) where Process flow is quite complicated and there are some Statutory Laws(GMP / cGMP) which they have to follow strictly. So to incorporate this precautions SAP has provide one additional function for all this industries, and that is use of PI Sheet.

Hi,
PP :
PP means Production Planning. This is generally used type of Production Planning for shop floor / manufacturing scenarios especially Discrete Manufacturing and Repetitive Manufacturing ( REM).
PP-PI:
PP-PI means Production Planning : Process Industries. PP-PI is also part of PP module only but since Process industries require precise quality control and other requirements like Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMP) to be followed so special Production Planning process is devised for process manufacturing industries like Pharma, Continuous Process Industries etc.which is called PP-PI.
Hope this clears your doubt.
