External pricing enging for SD

Former Member

We have a requirement to determine the condition types from an external system. This works really well when we set each condition as 'manual' in the pricing procedure and the condition type is set to 'No limitations'.

The IDOC posts the condition types on the sales order correctly.

The problem we are facing is when a user enters an order via VA01 (or change mode VA02). Because the condition types are set to manual, we have no way of interfacing to the external pricing engine and populate the condition screen.

Is there any programatical solution to add condition types that are set as manual on the procedure?

TIA.

Hello,

When you set the conditions "Manual" and when user Creates/Change the sales order, he has the option to choose the condition from drop down in the item->condition tab. User can choose which ever condition he wants. I know this is painful task for user to choose all the conditions manually.

How frequent user creates sales order manually?

thanks for your comments on having the user enter the condtions manually. Unfortunately this does not answer my question, is there any way to have a program insert the manual conditions when the user changes a sales order.

Note that we have an external pricing engine (non SAP) that contains the rules for what conditions should be given on each line item.
