Making an Account Clear Automatically

Hi,

I have to make an account to clear items automatically. I know selecting "open item management" will help me do that, but the account has a balance.

Anyone been in the same situation? Please let me know what i need to do.

Hi,

Use the transaction F.13 - Without Specification of Clearing Currency to clear automatically using specific field information as the clearing criteria e.g. Assignment, Reference, Business ARea, Partner and so on. You can use max of 5 fields to determine the clearing criteria.

Refer the information help available with transaction F.13 for further details.

So what you happen to the previous open items. I checked in the system today and there are open items since 2005. What will be the impact on these open items?

Hi,

You shall be able to make auto clearing of the Open items when you specify the Criteria for Clearing like field Reference,Assignment in Transaction OB74.

But please note that if you make the balance Zero and try Auto clearing of Open items then auto clearing shall happen for the transaction posted after selecting Open item Management and previous transaction any shall not get cleared automaticaly.
