Dear Expert ,
While creating the return excise invoice , system is prompting the message Number range is not maintained for object J_1IEXCLOC.
When i tried to maintain the same thru J1I9, I AM NOT ABLE TO CREATE IT FOR THE YEAR 2008.
As when i tried to create it using J1I9i am not able to change it as "
To-year indicator can only be changed if no intervals exist "
Please guide me how to maintain the number range for above mentioned object J_1IEXCLOC and for year 2008..
Regards,
MM

Hi,
Go to J1I9, here enter No Range Object as "J_1IEXCLOC" and click on "Number Ranges" button.
Enter Series Group........ and click on "Change Interval" button and maintain it as following for e.g.
01 2008 1000000000 1999999999
Note: - Number range number should always be 01.

Thanks for reply.
When i run J1I9 , change interval button is not activated for any of the Series group i have maintained.
Only display tab is activated.
e.g. For series group 99 and year 2007 i had maintained the number ranges but i am not able to maintain the number range series for 2008.
Eventhough i created the new series group i am not able to maintain the numerrange series for the same.
Pl. guide.
Regards,
MM
