Opening in 2008 CR from previous versions, Inner Joins are changed to Outer

Hi,

when opening in version 2008 Crystal Reports from previous versions, the tables relationships change from Inner Joins to Outer Joins.

There's any explanation?

How can I migrate from previous version without changing the relationships?

Thanks, André

Hi there,

1. Please state the exact version of CR2008 you are using (check in Help/About).

2. What kind of database are you using?

3. What kind of connection are you using?

4. Try use another kind of connection. That is, if you use ODBC, try OLEDB or native connectivity.

5. Have you try applying service pack 1 for CR2008?

6. What was the version of CR the reports were migrated from? CR8.5, 9, 10, 11?

7. Is this happening consistently with all reports or just one report?

1. Please state the exact version of CR2008 you are using (check in Help/About).

Crystal Report 2008

CR Developer

Version 12.0.0.683

Product type: Full

2. What kind of database are you using?

SQL Server 2000

3. What kind of connection are you using?

Migrating from ODBC to OLEDB But, as soon as I open the report in CR2008, every join is changed/shown to outer.

4. Try use another kind of connection. That is, if you use ODBC, try OLEDB or native connectivity.

Did it, I had to change manually al joins back to INNER

5. Have you try applying service pack 1 for CR2008?

No yet.

6. What was the version of CR the reports were migrated from? CR8.5, 9, 10, 11?

From 9, I think, but no sure. How could I know it?

7. Is this happening consistently with all reports or just one report?

With all reports

Thanks
