Problem installing downloaded Crystal Reports XI Developer

I'm hoping this is posted to an appropriate forum; I was directed here by a SAP tech support employee.

In April 2008 I purchased a copy of Crystal Reports XI Developer Upgrade (English) and added Extended Download Service.

I'm recreating an installation environment on a different machine owing to a disk failure. The original downloaded copy will not successfully install, terminating with 'The installation was interrupted' message before being prompted for key codes.

Do I need to get a replacement copy by download? Do I need new key codes? Where can I find the replacement?

Apparently some changes have been made to support since April, so all product support, even respecting licensing issues, has been turned over to these forums. So, I cast the CRXI Developer fate to the winds of the forum.
