New GL Table

Hello Experts,

I am trying to understand the new GL totals table, i.e. FAGLFLEXT and how the transaction documents are stored.

The requirement is that I have to get a report for GL accounts based on period by period basis. But the table has transactions based on the currency fields (TSL01, TSL02.....TSL16 for periods 1 to 16). It means that if the transaction took place in period 2, then that transaction amount will be stored in this table in the field TSL02.

Is my understanding correct?

Is there any table where we can see the cumulative balances of the GL accounts like we see in T.code FS10N?

Hi,

Your understanding about the table is correct.

There is no table other than this to see the totals. SAP computes the totals to be displayed in FS10N at runtime i.e. at the time of execution.
