Text item BOM

Hi Gurus

Is it possible to create Text BOM with header and child components as text items?

If so what is the T-Code?

Hello Abhijit,

You can certainly have text items as components in BOM by using item category as Text item.

Also you can create Document BOM's if you need Header item as text as well . First create Document (T code -CV01n) & enter plain text under short text field or under long text if more than 40 chars.

Can you let us know the need for something like that?

SAP supports Document BOM's just see if that is helpful for your need.
