Quality Inspection for byproduct

Hi Gurus,

I want to carry out Quality Inspection for byproduct - which is generated through the backflush in Repetitive Mfg.

can I go for inspection points for the same on time basis ?

Byproduct is maintained as BOM component of the header, with negative quantity.

pl suggest the process.

Have maintained byproduct as a component or header.

Hi,

You can use inpection type 05 - Inspection for other Goods reciept for by-product inspection.

Create QM view and add 05 inspection type,

Upon 531 mvt. Inspection lot will be created and stock will be automatically posted to inspection stock.

Upon result recording and usage decsion you can post the stock to unrestricted use...

Hope this is clear.

Actually, the requirement is -

inspection has to be carried out as time based inspection points for the byproduct.

I just want to know, if I can have Inspection as Inspection points for By product ; as we can have it for any header material.

Pl guide.
