Blocking of Catalog Materials

Dear Sir,

We have CCM implemented.

The problem is in a certain plant the materials that have been blocked in R3 & in SRM are still visible in Catalog,even after publishing the catalog.

Kindly help us, as to what exactly is the problem.

We tried unblocking & then again blocking them.

Still the materials are visible in Catalog.

Kindly help.

There was no solution found to this problem, hence we had to delete these materials.

Hi! you should change the material status in the purchasing view of material master data.

there is a material status by which you can "hide" the product so it is not possible to be selected from a catalogue.

Hi joshi,

You should go to your backend sytem, transaction mm02 (change material master) ; select Purchasing View (indicate plant number).

Once inside this view, you should check if does exist a material status code which remove the product number from the catalogue).

These materials are already blocked in R3 & SRM.

Their status is already 02.

Hi,

There is no direct 'link' between the products in the catalog and those in SRM_SERVER, if these items are present in CCM as a result of loading via SRM_EXTRACTED_CATALOG then an update load should remove those item whcih have been marked for deletion. Please review the help documentation for the SRM_EXTRACTED transfer for further information
