DTP and PSA

Hi Experts,

i am going to upload data between cubes by using Transformation and DTP, and include these steps into Process Chain. Is necessary use "Deletion of Requests from PSA" with choice "PSA Table" and which SENSE has PSA table in this example ?

Hi Martin,

Unlike BW 3.x, where PSA is used to transfer data between two cubes, BI 7.0 doesn't use PSA when u use DTP to load dta.

so the process Deletion of Requests from PSA doen't make sense to be inculed in the process chain.

and Cube to Cube is always full load. so i think it is not necessary to be included in the PC.

Hi,

It depends on your requirement, If you need to load data every day, and then once per week load data to other objec ( for example to save it or reprocessing )

You need not include "Delete PSA" option in the Process Chain.

But its prefarable to delete PSA after some days say 30 days(you get this option) all depends on requirement.
