installing netweaver developer studio on desktop

Hi all,

I want to install netweaver developer studio on my laptop at home,.

Please let me know where can i download the installation from?

Please give me the exact path from where to download .

and details of how many files are there to download.

Right now I just want to do development in the studio and test the code...hope I can do that??

I dont want to deploy the applications... Please let me know,

Also are there any prerequisites?? apart from downloading java ?

Or best is follow this path.

Go to https://service.sap.com/swdc -->Download -->Support Packages and Patches -->

Entry by Application Group >SAP NetWeaver>SAP NETWEAVER>SAP NETWEAVER 7.0>

Entry by Component >Developer Studio>NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 7.00>Win32> try to download latest JIDE16_0-10003480.SAR. Uncar it using SAPCAR and install DEVELOPER STUDIO.

Try to use download basket for downloading.

Pls award suitably.

Hi,

The software pre-reqs are as follows:

1. Local administrator rights under Windows 2000 or Windows XP

2. Installed Java Sun SDK version 1.4.2.

Hardware pr-reqs:

1. Approximately 500MB disk space, 512MB RAM,

2. A 800MHz processor.

You will have to download the installation guide from:

http://service.sap.com/installnw70

In this goto section 4-Installation Clients and under that download the installation guide "Installation SAP Netweaver Developer Studio".

Follow the section "Installing SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio as Standalone Version" of the installation guide and install it.

You will get the software at http://service.sap.com/swdc

Please Note - to access the service.sap.com you will need a S-User ID and that is available only for partners and customers.

hi I went to the software download site and searched for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio under search software section and it hows a list of things...can u tell me which one to install ?
