Support of Oracle 8, 9, 10 and 11 CDC function

Hi All,

Does anyone know if Data Integrator (XI R2 or XI 3.0) support CDC function of Oracle?

In the supported platform documents, they shows that XI R2 support Oracle 8, 9, 10 and XI 3.0 support Oracle 9, 10, 11 but does not mention specifically CDC feature.

Does that apply to the CDC as well?

These kind of details can usually be found in the release notes: the supported platforms document only lists the versions that are supported, the release notes go into detail about which features are supported on these platforms and list any exceptions.

This is what can be found in the release notes (valid for both XI 3 and XI R2) :

The Data Services log-based changed-data capture (CDC) works with the following database versions: 
Oracle version 9.2 and above compatible versions for synchronous CDC 
and Oracle version 10G and above compatible version for asynchronous CDC
