Hi gurus,

In my SAP system the materials are coded like C00xxxxxx, where 'C00' is a constant. Now in barcode label (CODE39), the materials are coded only with not constant code ('xxxxxx').

There is a way to add automatically a prefix C00 to the string 'xxxxxx' when the barcode reader scan the material label??

Hi,

Please check with your RF gun hardware manual, it is possible. In my experience, i have added a control at the end of reading the barcode.

or

Read the value of barcode and internally you can prefix the value of C00 to the value of barcode.

Hi,

I don't think there is a way to change to the way Bar Code scanner scans. But, you can Prefix the scanned material with the constant 'C00' and process it in the PAI event of the RF screen. This should be a pretty small enhancement.
