Importing values from excel to variable restriction

Hi

We have created a query in BI7.0 which should allow the front end user to insert massive amounts of numbers from excell in the variable restriction.

In our old BW 3.5 we where able to simply copy paste from excell and into the "select values" screen -is this possible in BI7.0 and if so how do we do it?

Just to clarify, Xavier, are you working in v7 BEx or Web?

Well I am executing them from Query designer so Believer that means Bex

Try this one.

In the variable input screen goto-> show and select single values--> copy in Direct input.

There is no solution to this - SAP have said they will re-introduce this functionality, but they havent said when (as far as I am aware).

However, we have developed a workaround (for Web reports anyway), let me know if you are interested.
