Former Member

hi all,

i am facing a problem with RWB End-to-End Monitoring.

When i click on <b>End-to-End Monitoring</b> i am getting some fields for selecting the filtering criteria.

When i click on the <i><b>Display</b></i> button, after seleting the filtering criteria, i am getting a message like

<b>No process defined for this domain</b>.

What could be the problem..?

thnx

Hi,

Have you activated the PMI(Process Monitoring Infrastructure) in the TCODE sxmb_adm.

this should be done first. It is in Integration Engine configuration in sxmb_adm. choose category: monitor and then PMIMonitoring in the parameters.

you can check thro these threads also..

to know everything about end to end monitoring navigate thro this link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/82/9e8dfe9eadbd4b9194c433e646b84e/frameset.htm

hope this helps,

<i>monitoring for category</i>

and

<i>PMI_Monitoring for parameter</i>..

but what about the values for the <i>sub paramter, prefix, default value</i>

so didnt give any values for them n proceeded....and SAP has initialised a default value of <b>1</b> for the <i>default value</i> column

and then i checked the end-to-end monitoring again....but still it gives me the same error

please guide me in this...

Hi pavan,

I think, thats all in the sxmb_adm part. Check whether you have saved it again. And PMI Monitoring is present in the specific configuration data.

Before going to the end to end monitoring tab, you have to do configuration in the configuration tab. have you done that?

in the configuration tab you must give login details and press display it shows all the components. select the ones required for end to end monitoring and select save configuration.

then try it in the end to end monitoring tab.

Hi all

i am trying to use End-to-End Monitoring, in my case,

in tab configuration tabe in RWB, i checked only XIIntegrationServer component type, and then save configuration button, it has no problem,

but when saving configuration after i added XIAdapterFramework component type into Configuration of domain.00.SAPXI,

what is user id to configure domain?

and what is user id to create http destinations?

i already created pmistore. and when testing i got http response 200, and spi_gate service is running as well so it's ok.

but error is below;

Create Destinations

The HTTP destination 'pmistore' must be created on the J2EE Engine of the adapter framework listed in the table to enable end-to-end monitoring of the adapter framework concerned. The HTTP destination 'pmistore' uses the ICF service 'spi_gate' to communicate with the integration Server

Create HTTP Destinations

Create Component Type Name of Component User Password Information

XIAdapterFramework af.xid.sapxi HTTP destination 'pmistore' not found

and when i click display in end-to-end monitoring tab,

i got logon pop-up window, and i failed logon step although i have used such like xisuper, xirwbuser, j2ee_admin. all user failed

please guide me.

hi venket,

as u told me to save the setting in configuration in the RWB i did it....and when i clicked on end-to-end monitoring it is asking for a username/password...but the problem is its not letting me login with any user id...

i tried all the users liike XISUPER, XIISUSER, XIRWBUSER, XIAFUSER, XIAPPLUSER etc...but none of them r letting me login...the error message it gives is

<i>

Logon failed

Call of URL http://hwsapxi:<b>50000</b>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/spi_monitor/monitor.do terminated due to error in logon data.

Note

Logon performed in system XIS .

Logon performed for client 100 and language EN.

What can I do?

Check the validity of your SSO ticket for this system.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

</i>

1 . is it looking for any specific userID..?

2 . is the above url correct..?

3 . is the port correct in that url..?

thnx

Hi Pavan,

The port i think should be 80<instance numer> mostly 8000.

The user should also need some roles to be assigned to display end to end monitoring.

Go thro this forum thread.

you also need some basic roles for enabling PMI monitoring. go thro his link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a8/a81b0b6473cb49bc34effad6eab13b/frameset.htm

in that

1 . i checked if the PMI service is running...n it is running

Hi Pavan,

All the ICF services has to be activated. Just run this report in se38 TCODE.

RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES.

This will activate all the icf services.

Also you need to check the domain in which the server is, and the domain in which the system u r trying to run End to End monitoring is. both should be in the same domain.(since these are BSPs the domain is important).

Hello Pavan,

additionally you should set the profile parameter SAPLOCALHOSTFULL in the instance profile to the fully qualified hostname.

Rgds.,

This error is due to FQDN.(Fully qualified domain name)

set your fully qualified domain in oS level and also set the parametr in oS level.Change the value in exchange profile also.

Then check it.

Hi Pavan,

Pls check in the exchangeProfile - http://<was_server>:5<sysnr>00/exchangeProfile/index.html

for the entries under "Runtimeworkbench"...

the values for the "centralmonitoring" needs to be correctly maintained...

i think the HTTP port here needs to be 80<sysnr> and not 5<sysnr00>..Pls verify this...

Thanks,
