Hi All,
Please tell me the difference between SA document type and AB document type. When each document type is generating because for me both SA and AB document is generating at the time of punching the documents in FB50.
Thanks
Vinu
hi,
SA document is G/L Account Document, AB Document is Accounting Document . AB Document type is Reverse Document, G/L account Document Clearing purpose use AB document,
u see all the documents Path IMG - Financial accounting - F/a Global setting - Document - Document Types - Define Document Types for entry View (OBA7 )
Example:
KR- V.Invoice KZ-V.Payments , KA- V.Clearing
DR- C.Invoice DZ-C.Payments ,DA- C.Clearing
SA- G/LDocument, AB - Reversal/Clearing Document
Standard Documents are thier, Otherwise u will Create New Documents No Problem.

Hi,
SA is for GL account document and AB is for accounting document. AB document type will appear when u use vendor or customer accounts also as they generate in accounting document.

Hi
SA document is regular and can be used for posting of any document. Where as AB document is generally reversing document type for SA. Check at TCode OBA7 for document type SA and AB.
