Reg Posting to A/C

Hi,

I have an issue in creating posting run to FI.

it is giving the error msg

"The posting date for period 04/2004 for payroll area NA is not maintained."

A/c Document is not getting created bcoz of this error.

kindly suggest me to solve this issue

try to select manual posting instead of automatic posting.

i think, it will solve ur problem

The earlier issue was solved.. I could rectify it by some customizing..

But now the error after running is

"Posting balance is not cleared (period 04) ".

Do i have to maintain posting charateristics for all the wage types in payroll run?

yes

check the records in the infotypes first later on check with the above tables abd tcodes

and also check the log of accounting periods for error mistakes

Hi,

U need to maintain posting date for payroll period.Check whether u have done this else this is the path.

Payroll -> Payroll india->Reporting for Posting Payroll Results to Accounting->Activities in the HR System->Maintain Posting Date for Payroll Periods . Here u can maintain posting date.

after maintaining the posting date iam getting new error i.e

"Wage type /460: Symb. account does not exist".

Whatever sikinder given that is the dircect way other than that you dont have any option
