SAP PP- doubt in operation

We have the operations say 0010 to 0070, if a component gets damaged or scrap during 0030 operation. Then how the process is continued

1) how it is reworked for damages(steps to rework)

2) or how it is made Scrap if it in not managed from rework & whare scarp amount is updated or processed.

Hi,

Normally if you make all the opns in the individual material, to find out material value and activity value is not that much perfect. So splitting the opn to required stage and making individual material will divde the better result regarding cost in stage wise.

So If the material gets damage in between the opn, confirm all the opns and finish. Now scrap that material by 551 mvt. For exact cost calculation you need to follow the opns split up for each stage.

Hi,

Check up this for the rework process: [Rework Process|;

During confirmation, the scrap qty is mentioned in the production process. During quality, the scrap qty is moved to blocked stock to the respective scrap location.
