Personnel Number field disabled

Hi,

We have replicated employees from R/3 to CRM and want to assign the personnel number of R/3 employee to CRM Employee.

When we go to txn:BP and open an employee on checking the Identification tab the personnel number field is disabled and does not allow us to make any entry.

I have already checked the field groupings for this BP role seems to be fine.

Please let me know how this field can be enabled.

Hi

as far as I know this field should be populated by interface with personell number of an employee from R/3.

Hi Prathiba

If you have integration with HR Active, the Personal Number field will be disabled in CRM.

The personal number and User will be populated from HR using ALE.

I hope you have maintained the User information in PA30 infoset 0105 ie communication.

Check in tcode PP01 of CRM, if you get two screens for the partner. The corresponding r/3 number of the employee should be visible in Screen 2.

If it is not, make the necessary changes in employee master in R/3. Execute program RBDMIDOC in R/3 to send the changes over to CRM. Put message as HRMD_ABA.
