Dear Guru,
Normally retired asset will not be displayed in asset balance report. However, there is an asset which was retired completely, is displayed in report. What are the possible causes of problem and solutions to the issue. Thank you very much.
Cheers,
Hi,
completely retired AND does have a deactivation date? You can fully retire an asset without setting a deactivation date, this is steered through the retirement transaction type used.
Asset Balances report picks up all assets which have INITIAL deactivation date at report date or which equals the report date.

Markus

When you go to the asset is it complete retired or is the value on 0? When this is the case use the transaction ABAVN - Asset Retirement by Scrapping. It don't create a posting when the value is 0 but set the reterement bit.
An other option is that the retirement is in the future and in your report still is in the selected time interval
