We have a requirement to add one validation when creating sales order with reference to quotation. In VA01, after clicking create with reference button and entering a quotation value in the reference field, a customized error message should come when my condition is not satisfied. I see in the standard program there are standard messages also like Reference document was only valid until &... I need something like this, hope my requirement is clear.
I have inserted some validation in program MV45AFZB, it is throwing the message correctly but after I hit enter key, the system cannot go back to VA01 create with reference screen. The error message displayed is
Flow control: Entry SAPMV45B, RANG, * , * , * is missing in T185
If you encounter any other exit/enhancement spot where validations can be inserted, please help.
