Hi ,
I am working on a SAP support project. The UNIX OS used is IBM AIX Version 5.3.
Database is Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 and SAP version is SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7.
I would like to know as to what is stored in the following subdirectories at the UNIX level:-
/usr/sap/<SID>
/sapmnt/<SID> - here i know that background job logs are present but would like to have more info.
/interfaces/<SID>
/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00
If you can provide detailed information regarding the above, i would be grateful.
You can also mail me on harikishan04@gmail.com
Cheers,
Hari Kishan.

You will find a detail explanation of those directories in the installation guides (http://service.sap.com/instguides).

This is a very basic question. SAP course ADM100 covers this topic and is an excellent course for a Basis newbie.
