Sybase Connectivity

Hi All,

I am new to business objects Web Intelligence.Could you guide me through the steps to create a sybase connectivity through the JDBC connectivity on the universe designer.I have included the jconn2.jar on the java lib of business objects.

It still throws me the error.... no suitable driver found.

Please help.

Hi,

Not sure, but I think you need to install the Sybase middelware and use ODBC on the client and the server.

Any answer for this post , Even I am in to the same need.

I am new to BO and using Sybase unwired servises as DB.I am unable to connect with the error suitable driver not found.

Can you please let me know if found some solution for this.

Hi,

This thread is 3+ years old, i doubt you will get a reply. Please start your own.

Also, product version, sp and patch level. reference which tool you are using, and the workflow you are trying.

also, information about your sybase version 12 / 15, and sp level. and the type of driver / middleware being used.
