SAP system interface with RF devices

We are implimenting WM module in ECC6.0 , and wanted to turn on the RF connection. How do we interface the RF with the SAP system?Do we need any middile ware to be used ? or with just the Standard SAP, we can connect with RF devices? Please explain the procedure.

Hi,

To connect RF device SAP you can use following middle ware.

1.SAP console

2.WEB console

3.Tek console.

Setting of middleware is of basis part.

To connect SAP with RF device apart from the above middle ware you have to do following customisation to design log on Pad LM00 from SAP side.

1.Menu Management: In following menus you can call further submenus or transactions.Please refer SAP 6.0 version for standard.

Inbound process

Outbound Process

Stock transfer

Internal warehouse Process

Inquiries

2.RF queue management

a)Define queue

b)Assign areas & activities to queue.

c)Assign processor to queues.

For RF generally SAP Console is used The maenu can be Defined in : Logistics Execution -> Mobile Data

Entry -> Define Menu Management
