Parallel Upgrade from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1

Hi Gurus,

I have installed PI on 2 Servers.

1. PI 7.0

2. PI 7.10

So I want to upgrade parallally PI 7.0 to PI 7.10

Could any one suggest me or give me some link or Give some ideas..

Hi Friends,

Thanks for replying, I have already gone through these documents earlier and what you all have suggested the same. Have any one has done the process earlier? does the phase out up-gradation works?, coz I don't want to take risk with client data and time.

If any one has done the process please let me know friends.

You can upgrade parallel

As you have one PI 7.1 installation you will not find it difficult to upgrade another.

Hi,

I didn't find any solution regarding my issue. Could you please provide some more answers.

I will repeat my issue:

I have installed PI 7.10 in a new server ( Its a new installation).

I want to transfer the datas from PI 7.0 to PI 7.10, is it possible through client copy or export import method.

Please suggest me with sap documentation....

It should be done via Export/Import mechanism and them change the objects in PI 7.1 as original.
