PLD Formula for Total

Created a pld for quotation, pld contains - total -discount =subtotal

Tried to create a formula to display the subtotal after discount which should be deducted from total.

Anyone got answer for this also it would be great if anyone can explain how eaxctly the formula works?

HI

I believe system will give Total amount after the deductions of discounts.

If you taken the Row Total amount(eg. Quantity*Price=Total)

hence it is a Row field you must place the formula into repetitive area.

eg.Chose a Formula field for subtotal and place the formula( Field_XXX-Field_YYY)

Field_XXX = Total

Field_YYY=Discount

Hi Kalaiselvam,

I think there was two reason it didnt work before 1- in formula I didnt put ( ) 2- Repetitive area difference means one formula was from header and the otherone was footer. Now seems ok. Thnaks for lightning.
