Hello,

i have a problem in licensing my ides. license has been properly obtained from sap portal (new digitally signed license).

--> pls no hints about hw key -> this has been checked and is ok

The license is installed with transaction slicence (everything works fine!). license is installed and marked as valid.

but after deleting the temp license. i only can login with sap*. with all other users i get error in license check.

any hints, any ideas? thanks in advance.

What error message do you get? What's the content of "dev_ms"?

even if installed license is valid, it does not mean that it will work. you need to make sure that SID and hardware license key are also valid. also, expiration date must be checked. f you played around with system dates, you might have problems.

Which IDES are you using?

in Netweaver, check tcode SLICENSE

if using IDES 4.7 or below, type saplicense -get and saplicense -show and provide output here

Error message is the following:

Logon not possible (error in license check)

when trying to log on with the gui and idadmin.

SID and Hardwarekey have been check. they are the same as those in the license file (number of digits have been checked too - these are ok too)

dates havent been touched - ntpd is active

Imported the license with slicence transaktion. slicence shows the license under new licenses - only thing thats odd is the empty expiration date field.

Comment on the license is valid. could this be an issue with daylight saving?

any more hints?

Thanks in advance

ok, so, you need the new license scheme. you install with tcode SLICENSE?

if so, go request your sap lciense again from service.sap.com/licensekeys and make sure you use a good license type.

also, as Markus asked you, supply contents from file dev_ms.
