Webdynpro application in a widget (Visual Composer)

Hi All

I am trying to find a way to run a webdynpro application within a widget. Has anyone tried this? Ideally I want to run a visual composer application in the widget, this is compiled and deployed as a web dynpro application in the end.

Have you tried embedding the application in a frame? Create a widget with the Kitchen Sink template and take a look at the c.HTMLFrame. With this you could embed the web dynpro app which would of course need to be running on a backend server.

Hi Jarrod,

I am assuming that you have the SAP Widget Developers tools installed.

After opening Eclipse, choose File-> new -> project.

Choose SAP Widgets->SAP Widget Project

You will then be presented with a list of templates. One of which is the Kitchen Sink Widget Template.

I just tried embedding a Web Dynpro application in a Widget using Kitchen Sink Template...

But I am not getting exactly what you are trying to tell.... Is this similar to navigating to a url on clicking a button? Could you kindly elaborate on this?
