Dear all,

I need to create a upload file with bps functionality.

I followed the steps from the how to document.

I get the following error:

Errors occurred when executing planning function KPILOG(KPI Logistics

Planning Function)/KPILOGPP(Logistic File Upload)

Message no. UPC302

Diagnosis

During the execution of a planning function, no data could be generated

in at least one case. You can find the exact cause of the error in the

messages that follow this one.

System Response

Any data that was changed by the planning function is reset to its

original status.

Procedure

Correct the errors that are listed in the following messages and execute

the planning function again.

I also get this error: Data in InfoProvider KPILOG_G is locked by user xxxxxx

Please help.

Hi Ramona,

Check note 635244 for BW3.5 setting locks. If you are using BI 7.0 check note 928044. What is your BW version?

Hi Romana,

Seems that you are experiencing a lock situation, that should be the reason why your function is failiing. Have you setup lock characteristics for that infoprovider?
