Workflow for Leave Application Thu ESS

Dear all,

We have just upgraded our system to ERP2005 and we found that the leave application is locked during payroll calculation. However, before upgrade (when we were using workplace before), user could still apply / approve leaves thu workplace during calculation. All the workflow would be routed to an R/3 account "leaveadm". Once "leaveadm" open and re-save the workflow in business workplace inbox, leave records would be updated and sychronized to R/3 database.

May I know is it limitation of SAP standard or we have to enhance the workflow for about? Please kindly share your thought, thank you very much!

Hi Anne,

Could you plz check if the note 923423 is useful..u could also use the message customizing which

can be done in 'Configure of Output Messages'. you could supress the error message.

This is related to HR. I think in the latest version once the payroll run is executed, it locks all master data. Check with you HR functional person.
