Text formatting symbols in SAP

Hi guys,

I need to know which meaning text formatting symbols have.

There are, as far as I remember, 4 of them:

*, ), /, .....

Does anybody have a link to a web page where these symbols are described ?

Or can anybody explain how they work ?

I tried to search the forum, but the search engine is hopeless...

Hi,

If you press F4 on the text symbol format input box, you will get a list of all possible formating symbols and its respective meaning.

Hi,

If you open any SAP form (t-code SE71), and see the layout of one of the windows and see the text for it. A window will open thats displays the texts. In the first coloumn you can press F4.
