Sending Email in Alerts

Hello to All.

I need to send an email when Alert is trigger.

In the TX ALRTCATDEF I can chosee an Alert Recipient, but this Recipients are users.

My question is How can to configure the Alert for send differents emails. ?

Because I need to send email to differents clients. ( Partys).

Hi Luis

You can send email only to the users exist in SU01.

We had this kind of requirement in past and we solved creating a user in PI. In Mail server that user was assigned to a group list.

Now XI was generating the alerts that send to a group list. You can easily keep anyone in that list internal or external from organization at mail server.

Hey,

In ALRTCATDEF. you can give users that have login in XI.

this you can give in the recipient field.

Now to this user you give an email address to which you want to send an email.

then you need to do certain configurations in transaction SCOT.

here you need to give your mail server ip and create a job.

Now go to transaction ALRTINBOX and you need subscribe.

Give you interface details in alert rule.

You can only send alerts to users who have user ID on XI system,in their profile in SU01 give their e-mail address(xxxx @companyName.com).
