Infotype enhancement problem - ECC6

Hello,

Having a problem with enhancement of infotype in ECC6.

I am following the standard procedure, PM01-> enter infotype-> go to Enhance single screen-> generate objects.

I get to the CI include stage, set Enhancement category-> create new fields and press back, generate objects.

Now ideally this was all that was required in v4.6, but in ecc 6 when i do generate objects i get the message

The structure HCMT_BSP_PA_XX_R0442 does not exist in the Dictionary.

I realise this is a screen structure. How can you assign this? anyone with experience on the same?

(if you have not created an enhancement in ecc 6 kindly donot reply to this thread as the problem is unique to ecc6)

How to regenerate the customner subscreen200?

Do you mean the Generate Objects Button ?

if not please explain the steps involded in regenerating the customer subscreen200.

Also what are the specific configuration should be in place .

Hi Suker,

I am now facing a different problem,I added additional fields in the infotype 463/462 but when I save the data,it's not getting updated in the data base .

All the other standard fields are getting saved in the database except for the enhanced fields.

Please provide me with your valuable input to fix this.

Make sure u regenerate the customer subscreen 200. it should update the table if all configuration is in place.

Hi

have you put the custom fields in chain.......endchain in the PAI of the subscreen.

for eg.

PROCESS AFTER INPUT.

• This chain has to include all input-fields:

CHAIN.

FIELD P0001-LONG_TEXT.

FIELD P0001-SHORT_TEXT.

MODULE INPUT_STATUS_SUBSCREEN ON CHAIN-REQUEST.

ENDCHAIN.

Just came across this thread.I too am facing the same issue while trying to add a field to infotype 0023.

I have carried out the following steps,

1. Added a field in CI_P0023 named PNREF.Activated the CI_Include successfully.

2. Added the field on the screen ZP002300 0200.Activated the module pool successfully.

3.In the assign enhancement command button on the Application toolbar,

the following entry was entered.

Module Pool : MP002300 Standard screen : 2000 Program Name : ZP002300 Standard screen 0200

After this when I press the " Generate Objects" command button in PM01 transaction,

I am getting the error message "Structure HCMT_BSP_PA_IN_R0023 does not exist".

Can you please let me know if you were able to solve this issue.

Hi Suker,

Thanks for your input,I have ignored and created still it was not apperaing in the PA30 transaction.

But fixed it ,by using the screen number 2001(Which was a alternate screen number fo IT462) in the Assign Enhancement it..Table Maintanance of T582C.

This problem is fixed fields are apperaing properly in the PA30 screen.

U can ignore that error.

First create CI include, and generate the screens... then assign the screen (assign enhancement button in pm01). You should be able to see your new fields in ur IT.

Eg for assigning screen n subscreen

MP044200 2000 ZP044200 0200

Sorry - forgot to add in.

After creating CI_include and generating i still do not get the field in my infotype!! Please help!
