Wage Type input combination

hi,

can anybody tell me how to set up a wage type so it can either accept an amount or percentage? I tried to setup the wage type input combination to "x" and "x" and the number/unit as "percent" but when i enter data in infotype 8, it still recognizes the number as an amount. How can I set it up so it will also accept percentage or is there something i'm doing wrong with how I enter data? do i need to use an indirect evaluation module?

As long you have the WT permissible for number then on your IT select the number and use percent on the next box.
