From few days my Java Engine is giving problem.

When i am try to use SDM,

After typeing the password - fror a long time it shows "Working" and connecting to "hostname"

After some time we see in taskbar as "Not Connected"

If i try to login again i get the message

Error: Cannot log in. There are already active sessions: Session id 1 / An administrator logged in via GUI /

1. where to find & how to delete active Administrator GUI login sessions in to SDM?

2. Even though i type correct password - why it shows for a login time

connecting and finally it shows "Not Connected" in task & further no logins allowed.

Why this SDM login process takes longer time & in Which situations?

Hi Srinivas,

This is what you will have to do.

1. Check the SDM Log directory to check the error messages.

/usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE_NAME>/SDM/program/log

2. Stop the SDM.

StopServer.sh password=<sdm_password>

3. Start SDM again.

StartServer.sh

With regards to the password problem,set the password again in the config tool Secure Store and this should work. To do this check SAP Note 701654.
