Open Hub Dest DB-Table extraction

Hello!

One question to the Open Hub Destination Typ DB-Table in BI7:

Is it possible to access the DB-Table directly without using the predefined OHD APIs via an ETL-Tool for example?

What kind of user with what permissions do i need for that?

Or is the only way to use the predefined OHD APIs?

Yes, you can access this table like any other BW or SAP table.

I believe it is technically possible to access the tables directly, however they are located within the database containing all the tables that constitute your SAP instance. I do not think the SAP administrators will agree to let you access those table directly from outside the SAP front end tools.
