Field Optional

Hi All,

I want to make No. of individula capacity field as optional field in work centre capacity header screen. Please let me know where I can do this field as optional.

why u want to keep optional...

it need to be there, there should be 1 atealst, sicne that only calculate available capacity.

if u dont put anything means zero.

so zero multiplied by wahtever ur time....your availble capacity is zero.

does that suits u.

so that field is compulsury....dont think of making it option...functionaly u r thinking wrong....

Hi Pravin,

Thanks for your response. This is in the planning stage and there is no capacity. Here in this field the capacity should be zero, but when I am keeping it zero, I can save it but it again asks for the field to reenter. I am wondering if there is any possibility to make it optional.

i am really confused. when that work center dont have capcity , why are you using work center. and u r doing planning, with work center of zero capacity???

or i will suggest to, create a different category of work center which dont have capcity screen.

that will be helpful for you.

u must be aware how to create work center category in SAP.

i just checked in SAP, even that is not possible what i suggested u.

Hi Archana,

No, this is not possible in standard SAP.

If you want zero capacity, set your start and finish times to 00:00:00.
