Customizing for managing folders and documents in cFolders via WebDAV

We want to use WebDAV for editing documents in cFolder, but we

do not want to install the portal drive as WebDAV client on every client pc.

Unfortunately the cFolders configuration guide describe merely how to customize

WebDAV for changing cFolders settings itself, but not the necessary settings

for managing documents and folders.

We've got some information from the SAP support:

- the service default_host/sap/cpro has to be active

- an external alias to this service has to be defined

- in the cProjects customizing at "make settings for the WebDAV interface"

we entered the url as follows:

https://<server>:<port><external Alias>

But neither IE webfolders nor the MS filexplorer can open a cFolders WebDAV-URL.

Perhaps some settings are missing, perhaps same settings are wrong?

How we can surround the reason?

Kind regards, Mafi

Hi,

Not sure if your problem was solved. I have the following problem:

This is with regards to webdav and cprojects.

In transaction SICF I created an External Alias, /sapwebdav. I maintained the Logon client, 010, maintained the Trigger element to /default_host/sap/cpro.

In transaction SPRO the URL "http://<host>:<port>/sapwebdav" has been maintained and the Cprojects set as active.

In the SAP Portal under the Initiative dashboard, I checked for the documents under an initiative and saw that the webdav button has been activated and that the URL to an initiative is for example http://<host>:<port>/sapwebdav/dpr/~(DPO_100008)/. If I open the url then I can access the document.

This is configured correctly.

In the KM webdav repository:

I maintained the HTTP system (Configuration > Content Management > Global Services > System Landscape Definitions > Systems > HTTP System )I manintained the Webdav repository (Configuration > Content Management > Repository Managers). The path is set to /sapwebdav/dpr/ because I wish to see all project's documenttation and for TREX this is what I wish to index on. If I change the path to /sapwebdav/dpr/~(DPO_100008)/ then I do see the documents for the individual initiative and Index on this is fine on this, but I donu2019t want to set this to indivdial initiatives wedbdav URL. I want to see all project documentation.

In the webdav client (portal drive) I also tested the fucntionality:

If I test for http://<host>:<port>/sapwebdav/dpr/~(DPO_100008)/, via the webdav client (portal drive) I see the documents, gates folder etc, but when I test http://<host>:<port>/sapwebdav/dpr/, I can't see the documents or hierarchies to any project documentation.

Do you know what could be wrong?
