Daer all,
We have the mission to verify ourIBAN numbers for the most of the SEPA countries by using official IBAN converters from each SEPA country. Does anybody have information about suppliers for such services?
We know already BV Zahlugnssysteme for Geramny (https://www.iban-service-portal.de) and (http://www.sepabelgium.be/node/191)
Thansk for a quick response

For Luxemburg there is no conversion rule. The IBAN's where attributed by the banks and each bank had its own rules for converting BBAN's to IBAN's. For some banks there was sequential digits inside the IBAN: for the first account of one customer, the bank write '01' into some positions of the IBAN, for the next '02', etc... So it was not possible to guess the IBAN. Currently, there is no more BBAN's in Luxemburg; new account are directly assigned in IBAN.

Thanks Martins and Kalyan
We are running R/3 4.7 at present and I know that with SAP ERP 6.0 the IBAN tool is improved. The BAPI you mentioned is available for 4.7 or 6.0?

Hi Frank,
SAP has already built in functional modules for all SEPA countries to convert bank accounts to IBAN' s - I would you suggest to use this functionality as then you could always have support and this is the source where you can trus 100%.
This online tool I have been using only for testing and double-checking and the quality is ok.
Good luck and let us know what is your choice!
BR,
Martins
Martins Jurcenco is obsolutely right. SAP's BAPI works perfectly if you have the correct Bank Key and the account number. I recently implemented for a client who had payments across the globe. We used only SAP BAPI. However for Bank Master we bought it from Acuity a product from Thompson Financials (now bought by Reuters). The bank data was complete for the whole world and clean data. they also supplied a program to upload the bank master file into SAP.
Hi,
I suggest you to use this service:
http://www.iban-bic.com/calculate_IBAN_and_BIC.0.html?L=2
P.S. also SAP has functional module to check IBAN: CHECK_IBAN

Martins
