Organizational reassignment not permitted

Former Member

Hi all,

I am getting an error while running exit action and allocation action

"Organizational reassignment not permitted."

Diagnosis

The organizational reassignment is not possible because

The previous and new personnel areas are assigned to different country

groupings (MOLGA)

or

The organizational assignment (feature IVWID) and the employee have

different infotype view indicators.

System response

The organizational reassignment is rejected.

Procedure

Check the attributes of the personnel areas, the settings in feature

IVWID, and the employee's infotype view indicator in the Payroll Status

infotype (transaction SE16, table PA0003, field VIEKN).

Please help me to fix the issue. My system is recently upgraded to EC 6.6

Hi,

In the feature IVWID country grpg india was already there but the payroll status field VIEKN(as mentioned in the error message) was blank.

So the feature needed to be changed. I removed the country grpg from the feature IVWID .

This solved my error . Only this was needed to be done.

Hi,

feature NUMKR is of no relevance for your issue.

You'll find in V_T500P that old and new personnel area are assigned to different countries (MOLGAS) which causes the error.

hi,

I have checked the table V_T500P but all the personnel areas are assigned to their respective country grpg.

and feature NUMKR is also correct.

Wilfred was right in suggesting Country Reassinment.

check this[ link |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/0c/500638142d11d3965a00a0c9308b52/content.htm]thats what you need to do.

But the error is for all the employees we even cannot run the leaving action for any employee, Country reassingment is not possible for more than 5000 employees

If you have to assign an employee from one Per. area of one country to another per.ara of another country, either do country reassignment or just perform termination action in one country and hire/rehire him in another country.

Whatg do you mean by:

"But the error is for all the employees we even cannot run the leaving action for any employee, Country reassingment is not possible for more than 5000 employees"

Hi,

as the message says, the new personnel area is assigned to a different country (MOLGA).

Within SAP a personnel number is linked hard (in the background) to a country and this PERNR can't be moved to another country.

Hence, you'll need to perform an international reassignment/country reassignment (which will require you to set-up a newp personnel action) or the quick-and-dirtty solution of termination one PERN and hiring another PERNR under the new personnel area.

Wilfred.
