Hi All...

Please clarify ......

In PP confimation(CO11N) some times, unplanned product will come out like instead of 304 grp SS material, 304L grp product may come out.. for that they decided to enter the material manually in goods movement at the time of Confirmation by putting 531 movement type. but where as even though in material master insp type 04 is activated for the unplanned mat, but after confirmation also inspection lot is not getting generated.

we want when ever by using 531 mvt GR is happening then insp lot should be generated.

How to deal with this scenario???

Hi Sriniwas,

You can definitly use 05 inspection type in the material master of the byproduct.

Maintain usage 5 in the inspection plan.

whenever there is a GR of byproduct through 531 movement, system generates a lot automatically.

And you can go further.

Hi ,

For by product the SAP considered it as a other GR so the lot origin assigned to this movement type is 05.Activate 05 inspection type in material.

Second also check in customizing whether "QM is not active tick" must not be there for this movement type.

The path to check is :

SPRO ->quality management>quality inspection>inspection lot creation->inspection for goods movement->Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type.
