Archive log backup ending with warnings to remote disk.Provided all inputs

Hi Experts ,

Plan is to take Archive log backup to remote disk

ex- Terminal A IDES planned oraarch backup to Terminal B

I have created a file in Terminal B & shared with full permissions.

file name- mbi_stg

I set the following parameters in initSID.sap

backup_type = offline

backup_dev_type = stage

compress = yes

archive_stage_dir = mbi_stg

remote_host = MBPROD

remote_user = "sidadm password" of source system that is IDES

& apparently when i say brarchive it is ending with following warnings.

The following is the log

Cant get where im missing. Pls provide inputs.

in initSID.ora, look for parameter LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST or LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1.

check that this path exists and also check that there are indeed recent offline redo logs in this directory to back up.

Hi Rahul, Actually in BRARCHIVE we can use this function to Copy, Delete, Save so that the log files are saved in two different TAPE place before they get deleted from Archive Directory.
