MRP background job

Hi Gurus,

I have created one variant in whihc i have defined the control parameters. I have scheduled the variant immediately to see the result. But it looks , the MRP was not run in the background

Please help me

Dear,

Check the planning file entry? If not then active in MDAB.

Generally MRP related reports are updated in table MDTB please check.

Are you getting the result in foreground MRP run?

RMMRP000 run this program in SE38 and check the result.

Dear,

Please scheduling log for MRP in MDBT in scheduling details?

Background MRP you can run from MDBT or you can schedule from SM36 transactions.

Variant is must to run the background job. you can create the same from SE38 transaction fro program RMMRP000 (MRP job program for background run at plant level).

Yes, i have seen the schedule log , and SM 37 where myjob has been scheduled and finished

But i dont find any changes
