URJECT - License (Restart Problem in the development system)......

Hi All,

After successfully installing Licence in ECC6, then getting following error when we attempt to re-start.

Faulting application dispwork.exe, version 7000.146.14.41964, faulting module dispwork.exe, version 7000.146.14.41964, fault address 0x000000000003b6af.

The application, E:\usr\sap\SDF\SYS\exe\run\disp+work.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 09/30/2008 @ 17:17:31.889 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 000000000043B6AF (disp_work!DpVmcCheckDebugProxy)

Please investigate AND let me know.....ASAP.

Tthe problem solved after re-starting the system from the os level.

Hi Brahmankar,

After installing we can able to enter via sap* for installing license.

But after installing when we restart the system then only problem is coming as above.....

please help in this regard.

Dear,

You need to reinstall by redusing your system name character.

It will solve your problem.

Install the license key as described in SAP Note 870871

Dear,

Your system name should be >=13 character .. After installing just changeing the system name ( to less than 13 ) wont work , you have to change the name in all the places where ever the old system name is specified ( eg> in profile name , profile parameterer etc ) . I think it would be much easy if you do a reinstallation.
