Approval Preview

Hello,

We have implemented N-step approval in SRM 4.0. When an approver changes a shopping cart during approval step, the shopping cart goes back to requestor to accept changes. At this point the workflow is "In Process", and the shopping cart is in status "Awaiting approval".

The approval preview of the shopping cart is showing "Approved by Financial Approval". There is no other step showing the task of the requestor having to accept changes. If the workflow is not completed, the approval preview should not show that it is approved. Our users are getting confused.

Anyone out there able to assist with this?

Regards

Rene

hi,

let me know the following things and i will be able to help you further

1) what is your support pack level of the SRM 4.0 system?

2) how many levels of approvers are there in your system?

3) what do you mean by --> approver changes the shopping cart?

1) is he changing the value of the cart?

2) is he rejecting any of the items in the cart?

4) what is the workflow security level of the approver who changes? if it is 'not defined' --> then workflow restart will not happen

in such case the workitem will not be send back to the requestor --> and so he will not be able to -->'accept changes'.

5) so first thing --> change the workflow security level of the approver --> to low --> and see wether the shopping cart ends up with status ' in your inbox'.

then the requestor will be able to accept changes --> using the button --> 'accept changes'.

Hi,

1, SP SAPKIBKS12

2, Levels of approval depends on scenario. Ranging from 1 to 3.

3, Approver changes price.

4, WF security level is set at LOW

5, The status is not the problem. It does display 'In your inbox' on document overview. The problem is that when you go into the approval preview section (either graphic or table), it shows approved.
